You are my thought!

You are the thought that comforts me
you are the breeze that wraps me
you are the belief that haunts me
you are the silence that hurts me
You are the sheath that cuddles me
You are the lap that holds me
you are the feeling that engulfs me
you are the wind that nourishes me
you are the idea that consoles me
you are the treasure that spoils me
you are the touch that amazes me
you are the flight that ducks me
you are the vibe that teases me
you are the shade that harbours me

You are the one I pester
You are the one I like

I am a pol science student in the European University of Madrid. You can check my uni at http://www.uem.es/. I have been reading your blog for a long time. While I simply love your write-ups on global affairs, I think your poetry is equally touching.

I just like this poem of yours. It has layers of ecstasy to it. There is joy, sorrow, excitement, valour -- everything. And how easily you steer the course from politics to personal views and then poetry. This is very impressive.

On a more personal note. I am 24 yrs of age/activitist/a small-time contributer to my university magazine/and live with my grandparents in Madrid.

Can I be in touch with you. I mean write to you. I'd appreciate.

Sam,
The tears of faithfulness to your beliefs cleanse your spirit to envision the road ahead. Everything is possible for the person who believes. I think you write superb.

And what's romance? Usually, a nice little tale where you have everything As You Like It, where rain never wets your jacket and gnats never bite your nose and it's always daisy-time. It is a streak all of us must have in an increasingly materialistic world!
